Le soleil des eaux

  1. superb

but a strange feeling as if some kind of showstopper bel canto aria was trying to break out of a cocoon of cellophane in which it had been wrapped by kidnappers.

  2. Lots of beautiful writing for the soprano, I don't know how much choral writing I've heard of Boulez, does Le Marteau have any in it? And I think there's one more Char poem he set.

  4. The pebble reminded me of this Magritte: http://bertc.com/g9/magritte12.htm, although that's not exactly a pebble. There's another anti-gravitational stone bird. How can you not love Magritte? Do you know Robbe-Grillet's beautiful volume of 'La Belle Captive'? I found it totally inspiring and beautiful the way R-G wove in and under, around and through, but not exactly always literally, through the paintings with his story. In some ways, his nicest book, but I also like 'La Maison de Rendezvous' a lot.

I made Dejan watch this at ktismatics, because he called it 'gay operetta recitals' that were inferior to Kylie Minogue, and he wrote a hilarious scenario of the 'tumultuous love affair between Arpege and Derrida', involving the corset and getting drunk, of course. It's comment #41 on the 'Maniacs of the 4th Dimension' post. Of course, then she ruins it by saying 'who is this Boulez?' and saying that he sounds like Philip Glass. I won't talk to her except at John's, but we'll have to stop now that he's back, because she keeps a reptile with fagged noumena hidden in her bleug, and she's adamant about that: If she flatters me enough, she thinks I'll come back and eventually get bitten again. This is to punish you and Anodyne, the 'wermin' who cause her hurt by stealing me away from her ridiculous idea that I would even think of marrying her... have been giving your ashram success some discreet publicity..

  6. "Miss the old blog, LCC!"

    Seconded.

And I especially miss the absence of Patrick J. Mullins' logorrheic narcissistic screechings.

That's just Dejan's 'correspondent' who calls herself 'lafeyetc', and is one of many Fagged Noumena that Dejan keeps, hoping I'll come back because I need some cheap 'petit objet a'. You know, 'martin, etc', bound to be less exalted than 'I, Etc.', even though I'm not a Sontag fan. She used to tell Dominic to get rid of me too, when I'd talk about music, because she's 'allergic to classical music' and just sends in Smokey and the Bandit songs. Dejan will finally throw her out, because John won't let us keep working in a 'safe house', where 'lafayetc' fears to tread, although 'NB' comes here, they could be the same.

Frankly, I'm not sure the 'sincere Bill' person who talked about 'living forever' was not the same. In any case, this one is the same troll who's followed me around for 3 years. She failed as a hack, and now has to go back to philosophy, or something like that. Who cares.

  8. "because she keeps a reptile with fagged noumena hidden in her bleug, and she's adamant about that:"

That's all this troll was responding to, as if I'm going to champion her idiotic ravings after all she did to try to prevent publication of my work. What do they expect me to do, thank them for suggesting it to me? The Collapse people can all go fuck themselves as fas as I'm concerned. Although the 'conference' lasting 5 hours should be an amusing moment, with the collapse editor and the despised hauntology dwarf having to be congenial in a compromised setting. Anyway, I've got work to do. And if ANYBODY doesn't think I'll call the police on hackers, get your head examined, if you dare try it!

  9. LCC:

I'm sure that keeping that blog going took a lot of time...but think about it again? You're a great writer and the world and me are less without you.
